Yoga Ground, one of the most expansive and progressive yoga studios in Auckland, welcomes all students, whether you’re an experienced yogi or simply wanting to try a class for the first time.

Yoga is the perfect antidote for a body out of balance or a stressed mind. The practice of yoga creates an intimate connection between our physical bodies and our mental state, and therefore with ourselves. Our habitual patterns of movement and thought become clearer.

By exploring the relationship between breath and movement, we gain insights into how our bodies and minds work, we gain strength and experience ease. Through helping us see ourselves more clearly, yoga helps us become more open and joyfully present in our daily lives.

At Yoga Ground, we have an open, non-dogmatic approach that de-mystifies the more esoteric aspects of yoga. We believe yoga should be tailored to each individual, and teachings should be selective based on each person’s particular needs and abilities. We offer a range of supported led classes and highly personal one-on-one sessions that encourages you to make tangible progress with your practice. This includes yogic postures, breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation.

Yoga Ground is set in a new, purpose-built studio in 56 Surrey Crescent, Grey Lynn - minutes from the heart of Auckland. Our high stud, natural light, gorgeous bamboo floors and city views create an ideal environment for your practice.
