Join Kundalini Yoga teacher Suzi Jowsey and sound healer Jason Friedlander for a relaxing transformative evening of consciousness awakening as we embark on an immersive sound journey exploring the healing resonance inspired by the elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space/spirit. This is an opportunity to enjoy how sound immersion can reconnect us with our love of nature and self at a whole deeper level. We open with gentle, easy movement (no experience required) then embark on a meditative journey guided by the primal sounds of the sun gong, crystal singing bowls, drum and didgeridoo. 

YOUR HOSTS

Suzi and Jason amalgamate their practices to offer a powerful tool for personal transformation and healing. Suzi began her spiritual journey with Kundalini Yoga and Meditation (an ancient Raj and Kriya based practice involving breath, movement and mantra) back in the mid 90s with UK based teacher Guru Dharam. Still training with him when she can, Suzi attributes much of her success as a writer and documentary film maker to the practice and nowadays shares its magic as a teacher. 

Jason began his journey over 16 years ago training extensively in healing modalities around the world working with the Shamans and Wisdom Holders of ancient knowledge. His journey started with yoga and meditation. The Buteyko breathing Technique prepared him to learn the didgeridoo and awaken his gift as a Sound Healer. A Course In Miracles entered into his life a year ago and is now training to be a Minister, weaving the magic of sound with the deep healing message of the Course. Currently he works one on one as a sound healer utilising a range of instruments including a unique Sound Sculpture created by master sound healer, Stefan Dunkle. 

IN PREPARATION  

Eat lightly at least 1 hour (ideally 2) before you come and please arrive a little early to set yourself up. Yoga Ground supplies mats, blankets and bolsters but do feel free use your own if you prefer. Wear comfortable loose clothing and bring a water bottle and let Joti know of any injuries or concerns on arrival. But rest assured that the exercise will be light and is part of the process for going into a deep meditation and relaxation. Throughout you will be offered options for making the movement easier and you are welcome to adjust postures to suit your body or simply ‘sit out’ the yoga segment if necessary. You will still be in the energy and ‘get’ the experience.
