KOHA KIRTAN EVENING

Join us for an evening of Kirtan (mantra meditation) to wind down at the end of your week.
Step out of your mind and into your heart as we immerse ourselves in divine sound vibration.
We will end the eve with a warming cup of chai tea :-)

No experience of chanting is necessary and if you have never chanted before and feel a bit apprehensive you are very welcome to come along and just bathe in the positive energy and good vibrations in the space.

No equipment is necessary. We have LOTS of cushions and blankets for your comfort.

Entry is by donation but we would love it if you would pre-register so we can guage attendance numbers.


Put the mantra in your mind and your mind in the mantra... Amazing things might happen.

Taking one of Neal’s all-time favourite quotes about meditation as a guide, in this workshop we use the practice of iRest® Yoga Nidra to awaken and embody a felt sense of safety, sanctuary, kindness and compassion.

Central questions we may consider during our Yoga Nidra practice are what, where, and how do we experience these feelings in our body when:
You are kind to someone / some being?
You receive kindness?
You witness kindness?

The second part of the workshop will orientate around compassion. We will discuss what compassion is, what empathy is, and we will practice Yoga Nidra as an invitation to experience compassion for others and for ourselves.
