This workshop is a simple and accessible starting point for any teen who wants to give yoga a try.
Teenage years can be both turbulent and transformational. This session is an awesome opportunity for the students to learn practical skills to support this time of change. It will equip students with a simple sequence of poses to help them feel stronger and more confident in their bodies.
We'll explore how the breath can change how we feel, and students will leave with knowledge of different breathing exercises that they can practice at home whenever they want to feel more grounded, centred, and calm.
Participation in this session will give students a good taste of what's on offer in our 4-week Yoga for Teens course that starts in March.
Investment - $39 per student OR BOOK TWO TEENS FOR $60 (contact kara@yogaground.co.nz for a discount code)

About Dani:
Danielle has been teaching yoga since 2016. She is passionate about helping guide students towards a healthier relationship between the mind, body, and breath. Dani has trained in trauma-informed yoga, yoga for mental health, and is currently pursuing an education in yoga therapy. She uses these skills in her offerings particularly at Mt Eden Prison and Mercy Hospice, but brings the key concepts of compassion, curiosity, and acceptance into all of her classes. She emphasizes inclusivity and accessibility, steering students away from performative yoga and towards the subtle sense of felt experience. Dani has experience in childcare and offers classes and courses for kids and teens. You can read her full bio here.
Please note: 6 students are required for this session to go ahead. There is a 72-hour cancellation window for this session meaning that no refunds or credits will be given for withdrawals 72-hours prior to the event or for no shows.
